What we do
Annually, our Club actively participates in various service projects. Here are some prominent initiatives:
- We founded, and continue to sponsor, the Kingston Kiwanis Music Festival. This is the 53rd year of operation of the festival. Go to kkmf.ca for more details
- We are looking forward to our Annual Sports Awards Banquet in 2026. This event honors and encourages the development of sports for youth in Kingston.
- We work with the local Staples Stores in Kingston to collect funds to provide school supplies for schools and children in under privileged areas in our wider community
- We assist KEYS in Kingston, an organization that helps settle refugees and immigrants to Kingston. Our concentration is helping to gather clothing, household items and furniture for the newcomers. Together with the Shriner's Club of Kingston, we provide and maintain a storage facility for these items.
- Kiwanis volunteers, through Community Spirit Gaming Association, at Community Spirit Gaming Centre. Our fundraising efforts support various services and initiatives in Kingston such as counselling services, food sharing programs, after school programs, day camping at the RKY Camp on Eagle Lake and on request, emergency funding for relief efforts in our community and others
